Hey guys! Last P day, we didnt do much, since we arent allowed to leave our area anymore. So we just hungout at the apartment.
On Tuesday, we went over to the Gs. They are a family of 8 that Elder Neuman found when he was here. We went over for temple prep, because they are going soon to get their endowments and get sealed. We had to Skype in the grandpa, Bob, and the mom, Becky, because Bob had a kidney infection, so they were at the hospital.
On Wednesday, we did service at the library.
On Thursday, we had interviews with President and Sister Smith. Later in the day, we had Bible study. We had an investigator come named Maria. She probably will get baptized. She is the caretaker of some of our other investigators, Bill and Ann, who are like 90 years old.
Friday, it rained super hard. We had district meeting. We went over to a less active named Brother J. So, ever since the last time we went over, which was when I first got here, he came to church for the first time in 10 years. When he went to church, he felt so overwhelmed from all the love that the members showed toward him. So that made him want to come the next week as well. For that sacrament meeting, we had a choir program. When the choir was singing, Brother J said that he felt the Spirit for the first time in his life! He started crying so much that he had to leave the sacrament meeting. It is so awesome how much of a difference coming to church makes in peoples lives.
On Saturday, we dropped Keith, because he absolutely won't come to church or quit smoking. So now we have to start finding new investigators, cause he is the only one that we would see regularly.
Sunday, as we were walking along the road, the Rock Hill sisters drive past us and Sister Erickson throws a bag of candy right into my gut. That was nice / mean of them to do.
So that was my week. Today is my birthday. I am now 19 years old.
Yay! Love and miss yall!
-Elder Turner
