March 13, 2017

Hey guys! Last P day, we played lots of sports as usual. When we were playing oompa, Elder Catanzaro decked Elder Hill in the face accidentally and gave him a pretty bad black eye. Later, we went to Rob`s to teach him. Then YSA sisters were already there teaching one of his roommates.

Tuesday, we had district meeting. Sister Schreck brought some pizzas. Then we helped Dominique B, a less active from Brazil, move some stuff from his house to his shed. Then later, the sister missionaries in our ward, Sisters Bate and Kaivelata, texted us and asked us to give Sister Kaivelata a blessing. So we went and did that at the church. When we got to the church, someone in the downtown Richmond area was getting baptized. This person had to wait two years to get baptized to wait for approval from the First Presidency. I got to see Elder Bendel there. He was in Spotsylvania when I was in Massaponax.

Wednesday, we taught Marti M again. We went over the baptismal interview questions with her. She passed except that she needs to quit drinking tea and start coming to church. We told her that the main reason why she needs to quit drinking tea wasn`t because there was anything wrong with it, but because God had simply told us not to drink it. That struck her pretty hard and she said that she would stop. Then we asked her to be baptized. After literally 2 minutes of silence, she said not now. Ugh!!!! So we dropped her. Then we got another text from the sisters, this time asking us to give Sister Bate a blessing.

Thursday, we helped Brother McLean tear down his shed. That was fun.

Friday was a lot of tracting. Well, this whole week was a ton of tracting.

Saturday, we finally found a new investigator. His name is John. He is Catholic. At first, we thought he was going to bash us, but as we went on, he got more interested and he accepted a Book of Mormon. He told us to come by Tuesday at 2. Later, we gave Sister Deane a blessing. We have given so many people blessings in this area.

Not much happened Sunday. Just a bunch of meetings. So that was my week. Tomorrow, we have inspections, so today we are going to clean a little bit. Interviews are on Wednesday.

I hope everyone is doing alright. Loves!
