I hope everyone had an awesome week! Mine went by pretty fast. Last P day, we played lots of sports as usual. Then later, I found a Maserati dealership in my area, so I'm hoping to go there for a P day one day. For dinner, we went to Bishop Harpers. They are from Orem. His wife's brothers are Chad and Chase Pollard, who many of you might know. Then that night, we went over to Rob's and taught him.
Tuesday was my 8 month mark! It's crazy that I'm already 1/3 of the way done. It's flown by sooo fast! It was also the year mark from when I got my mission call! Then we went on an exchange with the Innsbrook elders. I went around on bike with Elder Gunnell. Elder Exon trained Elder Gunnell. Then we went to teach Sister Deane. We brought along Brother Luke. Brother Luke is super awesome and is a really good teacher! Then we went to the Ladles for dinner. They have 9 kids! The whole time, we were just saying jokes, and one of the kids knew all my jokes! Lame!!
On Wednesday, we went to MLC to pick up Elder Woods, who was Elder Exons last companion and is Elder Richardsons current companion, to take him to the doctors office. Later, we taught a crazy lady named Marti at the library. The library is super new and super cool! That lesson was pretty interesting.
Thursday was weekly planning. The Lukes took us out to OCharleys for dinner. Then we taught Rob again that night.
Friday, we had a zone meeting. Then we went to a place called Chicken Fiesta for lunch. It was super good. That night, we went out with Brother McCleary to contact some less actives. He is also from Orem and went to Orem High. Some of you might know his brother Clayton McCleary.
On Saturday, we had dinner with Brother Kintu. He is from Uganda. He is super chill and funny. He almost fell asleep while talking to us. But his food was pretty good, but wasnt anything from Uganda. Then we brought the Stringfellows to help us teach Jeffrey and Lindsey Puszakowski. That lesson was super solid.
On Sunday, in the Gospel Principles class, the lesson was on exaltation. And the sisters brought an investigator. So we were super scared out of our minds what this guy would think of us. The teacher can sometimes get carried away and say some false doctrine. One time when he was going on about some stuff, like 3 people had to cut him off before he went too deep into his discussion. It was crazy. Everrett, the investigator, was participating though, so he must have been fine with everything, I think. Later, we went home teaching with Brother McAllister. We taught a guy named Steve Miller, who is roommates with Rob Walker. Then we gave Rob a blessing because he was feeling sick.
Today, we are doing a zone sport P day. Those are my favorites, because you kinda need a lot of people to play a good game of oompa.
Stay safe and read Jacob 6:12! Love and miss you all!
